Monarch Butterfly On 09/22/2011, while hiking along the road to Wheeler Pass I got lucky and captured a couple of shots of a single monarch butterfly that had landed in a patch of, what I think is yellow Rabbitbrush, I think the Rabbitbrush made a perfect backdrop for showcasing the butterfly.
