Lovell Canyon Trail Today I took a hike to Lovell Canyon with the rock hounds from the Henderson Heritage Park Senior Center. Because this was the second time this year that we visited this area, I just made an update the original Lovell Canyon Daytrip page. Probably one of the most exciting things about todays hike was a fossilized rock that I found while walking in the wash. This specimen contained several conical-like sea shells, proof positive that this entire area was once under water.
