Journal Entry for Sunday, Nov 13th

Daytrip To Valley of Fire Today we took a daytrip with Connie’s brother Rick, to the Valley of Fire State Park. Even though the day started out a bit cool and cloudy, it seemed to improve as the day went on. This was Rick’s first visit to the park and he couldn’t believe the geology and how beautiful the scenery was. We spent the better part of the day touring the park and taking advantage of its numerous picture taking opportunities. I decided that the next time I return I want to make sure that I’ll be able to stay long enough to find some sunset opportunities. Tomorrow I will start working on cleaning up today’s pictures and update the existing Valley of Fire page on my Photo Gallery site.
